To operate this IRLT type of product:
1) a Powerbank with type C 5V/2A input is required

Below some commonly asked questions relating to Infrared Light Therapy:

Q. How long does it take for red light therapy to work ?
A: It is not usually an immediate miracle transformation that will occur overnight, but it will provide you with ongoing improvements that you will begin to see in anywhere from 24 hours to 6 months, depending on the condition, its severity, and how regularly the red light therapy is used.

During extensive trials, in some cases immediate results were observed. A daily routine treatment ensured maximum benefit of the IRLT to allow for the best results, as documented during the trial periods 

Q. What is the difference between RED and Near-infrared light therapy ?
A: Red and Near-infrared light therapy are exactly the same except for two differences:

Red light is visible and Near-infrared light is invisible.
Near-infrared light penetrates into the body deeper than red light; please refer to the information in photos and on the VetnPro IRLT Page on the website.

Q. How often do I need to use red light therapy for the best outcome for my horse?
A: This depends on the condition/s you are treating and the type of device you are using.

For most conditions, daily use for at least two weeks is recommended, followed by a routine maintenance regimen.  
Results should be able to be evident in this time, although in some cases it is advisable to continue the use of Infrared RedLight Therapy as improvement in some horses may take longer when dealing with persistent issues.

Q. Do I need to continue to use the light as much when I start seeing results ?
A: Yes. Just because you're seeing results, it doesn't mean that the horses’ tissues/cells are finished doing their jobs. 
It's just that the results of their efforts are starting to become something you can see or feel in your horse such as visible improvement of soundness or healing of injuries.
Keep up the treatments until you reach the goal level of results.  
Then you can start a daily/weekly maintenance, rather than recovery schedule.

Q. Does red light therapy work on animals ?
Multiple studies support the efficacy of red-light therapy to animals.  
A 2017 study shows how Red Light therapy promoted faster healing for dogs that underwent bone surgery.
The findings were also complemented by another study that suggests near-infrared wavelengths promoted bone cell reproduction for dogs.
